As a lifelong musician and longtime sound engineer, Andrew Bergen has the ears and eyes to provide the ideal harmony between vision and sound. After earning degrees in entertainment business and audio production, Bergen spent the next six years at a Minneapolis-based music publishing and licensing company, working his way up from Coordinator to Director of Licensing. Bergen managed and oversaw an entire music licensing division, managed and developed artist collections and distribution, worked directly with music supervisors and producers to secure song placements across multimedia platforms and developed key marketing strategies for the company. Bergen has worked hand-in-hand with major television networks, film and trailer companies, as well as the video games sector, to establish and deliver an authentic sound for each project. Select sync credits include placements in over 50 TV shows across all major networks, feature films including, most recently, “Begin Again”, “Get On Up” and “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” trailers for “White House Down”, “The Heat” and “Despicable Me 2” and was the music supervisor on the video game “The Fast & The Furious Showdown”. In addition to his passion for music, Bergen loves fostering Pit Bulls, traveling to new corners of the world and enjoying a micro-brewed beer next to his BBQ and fire pit.
